For Future Me

another season, another year
change creeps up on us slowly

i reflect on this journey, and all that i’ve been through
the many times this wasn’t easy—and yet…

i still hope, i still dream
i’m still discovering the best part of me

the more i uncover, the more i love
the more i’m in awe of what i could be
the power to turn dreams to reality

though seasons may change,
one thing remains—
i’m doing this for the future me.

As life takes us through the highs and the lows, what’s beautiful is the spirit within that keeps going. Through everything, we still try. We still have hopes and dreams for a better future—for ourselves, and our world.
